Alicia Malone

Alicia went through the FilmStruck hiring process in 2015. Malone made recordings of Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's openings in order to practise reading them before the camera prior to the TCM hosting audition. She auditioned in 2017 to be considered for a Turner Classic Movies hosting position. The company hired her in January the following year. Malone has spoken about the challenges facing women in the film industry in two separate TEDx talks. Maree was also featured on various programs, such as the Today Show NPR CNN The Movies Documentary Series MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight MTV 2019 Live from the Red Carpet Oscar show as well as ABC. She developed and hosts the YouTube program Indie Movie Guide on behalf of Fandango.
